Your opportunity to grow
We are looking for a full-time Purchaser to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Research cost effective acquisition of materials and services to meet Company needs.
- Update material and hardware pricing.
- Identify and negotiate with suppliers and compare prices, specifications, terms, and delivery dates to determine optimum solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers and manufacturing representatives.
- Monitor in-house inventory – Order and update appropriately, oversee material transfers, procure and track specialty materials
- Maintain material lists and control material costs for every project
- Create and maintain purchase orders
- Respond to internal and supplier inquires
- Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- 3 Purchasing experience, ideally in a custom manufacturing environment
- Strong computer and data management skills
